We are a community of passionate thinkers that come together around the belief that to amplify teacher voices teachers must write about their profession. In 2015, we started The Instructional Coach Academy to help give instructional coaches a voice and to build upon the work we’ve done at The Educator’s Room. Our goal is to bring a behind-the-scenes look into the life of an instructional coach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Educator\u2019s Room community thrives because of teachers and writers who lend their voices and stir the discussion on topics that can be hard to discuss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The <\/span>Educator\u2019s Room reader is an educator who not only loves their profession but is also \u2018hungry\u2019 to learn about what\u2019s happening around the country. Our readers are self-starters and diligent protectors of public education. We love personal essays around teaching and learning with an emphasis on voices that are honest and come as close to the classroom as possible. We also love well-researched opinions and breaking news around education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our articles are generally between 800\u20132,500 words in length and conversational, insightful, and helpful to K\u201312 educators. (Submissions that exceed 3,000 words have a lower chance of acceptance.) Articles should contain fresh information, be research-based, and give concrete guidance that school leaders and educators can use to improve their practice. Authentic The best way to determine what kind of articles we publish is to read the website.
